As summer hits its height, this simple yet functional ceramic wasp catcher will be invaluable when dining al fresco. Hang the wasp catcher at a distance of 5 metres or more from where you’re sitting and watch the wasps being attracted to the catcher, not your table! Sugar and water, or a sugary drink work best when enticing wasps to the catcher. Wasps enter the catcher through the hole at the base and come to a sweet end in the liquid. Wasp catchers come complete with a cork stopper to make cleaning easy. The wire hanger enables the catcher to be hung from branches or garden furniture. From base to rim the catcher measures 16cm high (with cork inserted 17cm). With the wire hanging loop extended, the catcher measures 28cm high. At it’s most bulbous, the catcher has a diameter of 37cm with the neck having a circumference of 13cm. The base measures 9cm in diameter with the cork opening measuring 4cm. The catchers come in two attractive colours; apple green and coffee bean. Optional free gift wrapping is offered with this item. We will wrap in 40gsm cream Kraft paper and tie with dark green raffia.
