The display contains the complete set of ten 1940 coins, namely: halfcrown, florin, English shilling, Scottish shilling, sixpence, threepence (all struck in 50% silver), brass threepence, penny, halfpenny and farthing. It also contains the official British 1965 postage stamp, issued to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. All of the coins are in Fine (or better) condition and the stamp is in unused Mint condition as issued. Our manufacturing process is a precision laser cutting method to create holes in which the coins can be inserted: thus holding securely in position without harming them.
